For future residents I would suggest bringing everything they’ll need for the kitchen, an extra couch to add to the living room and anything else of their own that they want to furnish the house with. The traffic and noise is not too bad on our street, but the main street traffic may take a [...]
In terms of info for people next year, people should probably know that the house shakes when the trains go by. There is usually little traffic on this street though which is really nice. Also, we love being so close to everything on campus. As far as things to bring to the [...]
I really enjoyed living here this far in the year! The noise level is
fine for me. The train kept me up for the first few weeks and it was a
little hot too but overall I’ve really enjoyed it here. I really
like that it is on the campus side of the tracks…no waiting on [...]
1. People really don’t need to bring that much to live here…. Really, the list could be about the same as for the dorms, its just there is more room so people could bring more than if living in the dorms.
2. The traffic on our street can get a little busy because people use our [...]
love this room for the windows. loud street noise constantly really, live
above the boiler room so it’s consistently extra warm, dare i say
hot…too hot at times…..
the open public area is wonderful and spacious. again, nice windows.
enjoy the hard wood floors and higher ceilings than the dorms. doesn’t
have that “dorm” feel. which is appreciated. kitchen is [...]
1.what to bring: couches, carpet for basement bedrooms, lamps, rugs for kitchen
2. about noise: very little noise here
3. neighborhood: we have a parking lot and dorms…
4. best feature: upstairs area is nice and open, and downstairs bedrooms are nice. i really like the high-ish ceilings upstairs, and there’s a lot of cabinet space in [...]
1. The house has nice couches, chairs, table, and kitchen apps. This
is great to not have to bring those large items. Ive lived here for
two years now, and for both years we have brought about the same
stuff for the living room. Large tv is nice, especially because of
the large number of guys [...]
I would tell people who were going to live here to bring
one or two good sized tv’s for downstairs, but you dont need them for personal rooms
bring carpet if they want, its nice to lay down, but a throw rug would work also
pots, pans, silverware, bath matt, hot pads, rags
as for the street and noise [...]
